We’ve found a way to turn the stepper motor’s noise into tunes, thanks to a solenoid’s fundamental sound-producing element. While polyphonic music is a challenge, RTTTL (monophonic tones) is now integrated into your printer’s firmware!
Introducing M37 M-code, custom-made for the Enabler D8500. You won’t find it on the standard Marlin g-codes directory.
How to use them:
M37 → Play Monophonic
It’s simpler than it sounds! Connect your printer via a serial terminal (like Pronterface) or the web terminal (http://m3d-enabler.local/)

This is RTTTL – the same format used for composing ringtones on old Nokia phones. If you’re looking to compose new melodies, websites like this one can help. Just be aware that RTTTL commands can vary, and our firmware supports a specific flavor.
